| The 1996 student trip marked the first time that all the students were boys. This made it much simpler for us to arrange for accommodations; almost any combination of doubles, triples, or quads was possible. Every trip stands out in our mind for a few reasons. This one was for the snow. It snowed our second night on the trip (in Salzburg, and we continued to have snow in every city we visited. At no time was the snow so heavy that it interfered with our plans, but for Southerners who almost never see snow falling, it always looked like a blizzard. |
