Our Prague Christmas trip resulted from unusual bargain airfares being
offered during the normal blackout dates around Christmas. We had
many choices of places to revisit, and we both quickly agreed on Prague.
Our only other visit to Prague had been immediately after being pickpocketed
in Budapest; we remembered how wonderful the city had seemed when we were
penninless and decided that it would be so much better with credit card
and cash in hand! A couple of the statues on the Charles Bridge have
places to be rubbed for good luck; we decided we'd give it a good rub on
every pass.... and it must have worked. Other than the cold, the trip
was delightful. |
